The Elms community comprises of almost 200 acres of land and consists of condos, garden homes and single family homes. Started in 1987 by Summerville Homes The Elms of Charleston currently was built out by Ryland Homes and contains 325 residences. All homes offer single-level living with master bedrooms on the first floor. The community was designed so that most homes are on cul-de-sac streets insuring low traffic in the community. Homes in the community were designed with active adults in mind and provide a low-maintenance lifestyle to residents.
